Trivia: Gian Maria Volonté played two different roles in this movie and it’s sequel Per un pugno di dollari (1964) (A Fistful of Dollars). In the original, he played Ramon Rojo and in this movie he played El Indio.

Goofs: Continuity: At the end of the movie when the Colonel shoots El Indio, El Indio’s left hand that’s holding the watch is by his left side. When the Colonel goes over and steps on his hand to get the watch, his arm is stretched out.
